زمینه و هدف: کیفیت مهمترین مسئله در عرصه خدمات سلامت به ویژه مراقبت پرستاری است از آنجایی که هرگز نمی­ توان به سطح مطلق کیفیت دست یافت، بنابراین بررسی مداوم و مستمر آن همواره الزامی است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین وضعیت کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری در کارکنان پرستاری اجرا گردید.
مواد و روش ­ها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی است که با مشارکت 210 پرستار در دانشگاه شهید بهشتی با نمونه­ گیری در دسترس انجام گردید. گردآوری داده­ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه ه­ای مشتمل بر دو بخش مشخصات فردی و پرسشنامه استاندارد کیفیت مراقبت کوال پکس با 72 سؤال در سه بعد روانی اجتماعی، فیزیکی و ارتباطی انجام شد. به منظور تحلیل داده­ها از نرم افزار SPSS 16 و نیز از آمار توصیفی و استنباطی استفاده شد.
یافته­ ها: میانگین سن پرستاران 33/53 سال بود. 20 درصد پرستاران مرد و 76/1 درصد نیز زن بودند. 84% پرستاران کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری را در بعد روانی اجتماعی، 79% در بعد فیزیکی و 68/5% در بعد ارتباطی مطلوب ارزیابی کردند. همچنین بر اساس آزمون من ویتنی بین میزان کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری با جنس رابطه معنی داری وجود داشت به طوری که کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری، در پرستاران زن بهتر از پرستاران مرد  بود (0/01p=)
نتیجه­ گیری: وضعیت کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری از دیدگاه پرستاران مطلوب است اما تامین­ کننده انتظارات بیماران در برخی ابعاد مورد بررسی نمی­ باشد. لذا ارزیابی مجدد استانداردهای کیفیت مراقبت در سه بعد ساختار، فرایند و برآیند از دیدگاه پرستاران و بیماران، اتخاذ تدابیری جهت افزایش ارتباط درمانی مناسب بین پرستار و بیمار و توجه به نیازهای روانی و اجتماعی بیماران تا حد امکان می‌تواند سودمند واقع شود.
