زمینه و هدف: بیماری مولتیپل اسکلروزیس یک بیماری مزمن و پیش‌رونده است که می تواند منجر به افسردگی شود. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر آموزش اختصاصی سازی خاطرات بر خاطرات مزاحم و افسردگی در بیماران زن مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس ( ام اس) بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش نیمه آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون - پس‌آزمون با گروه گواه انجام شد. جامعه آماری این پژوهش شامل کلیۀ زنان مبتلا به بیماری ام اس مراجعه کننده به مراکز درمانی شهرستان خرم‌آباد در سال 1399 بودند، که تمایل آزادانه برای شرکت در مطالعه را داشتند و با استفاده از روش نمونه گیری در دسترس تعـداد30 نفر انتخاب و در دو گروه آزمایش (15 نفر) و گواه (15 نفر) گمارده شدند . ابزار جمع آوری اطلاعات شامل مقیاس تجدیدنظر شده تأثیر و پرسشنامۀ افسردگی بک بود. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده های آماری از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه19 استفاده شد. برای این منظور در سطح آمار توصیفی از فراوانی، درصد، میانگین و انحراف استاندارد برای توصیف داده‌ها و در سطح استنباطی از تحلیل کوواریانس استفاده شد.
یافته ها: نتایج بیانگر این بود که آموزش اختصاصی سازی خاطرات به طور معناداری موجب کاهش خاطرات مزاحم در مرحلۀ پس‌آزمون (0/001p<) و افسردگی در مرحلۀ پس‌آزمون (0/001p<) در بیماران زن مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس در گروه آزمایش گردید.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته های این پژوهش، آموزش اختصاصی سازی خاطرات به عنوان مداخلۀ روان‌شناختی مؤثر در کاهش خاطرات مزاحم و افسردگی است.
