Materials and methods: The research method was practical and semi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group. 30 women with breast cancer in Kermanshah city, who were selected as available and then randomly divided into two cognitive-behavioral treatment groups (15 people) and the control group (15 people) were allocated. The data collection tool included Conor and Davidson's resilience questionnaire (2000). Cognitive-behavioral therapy was performed face-to-face during 10 sessions in the test group. The data were analyzed using t-tests using multivariate analysis of covariance and using SPSS version 24 software. Results: The results showed that cognitive-behavioral therapy had a significant effect on the resilience of women with breast cancer and there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate the usefulness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in increasing the resilience of women with breast cancer; therefore, it is recommended to use this treatment approach to increase the resilience of these patients. %> http://sjnmp.muk.ac.ir/article-1-516-en.pdf %P 1-12 %& 1 %! %9 Research %L A-10-477-3 %+ MSc of General Psychology, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, Islamic Azad University, Eslam Abad-E Gharb Branch, Kermanshah, Iran %G eng %@ 2476-4841 %[ 2023
