Abstract: (39 Views)
Employees working in the healthcare sector experience a higher level of job burnout than other occupations due to exposure to multiple stressors. Therefore, the present study aimed to design and validate a cognitive coping training package for job burnout in nurses.
Methodology: The present study was applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of implementation method, using content analysis. The statistical population for validating the educational package included psychology and counseling professors, who were selected through purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria of having a PhD and having at least 10 years of work experience related to the professional field. Then, based on the extracted components, a cognitive coping training package for nurses with burnout was designed in 12 45-minute sessions. To examine the content validity of the test, two methods were used: Content Validity Index (CVI) and Content Validity Ratio (CVR).
Findings: The findings indicated confirmation of the content validity of the educational package.
Conclusion: Based on the results, it can be concluded that the cognitive coping training package for burnout in nurses has the potential to be used in studies related to burnout.
