زمینه و هدف: در دوران پاندمی کرونا، به دلیل کمبود پرستار و افزایش روز افزون بیماران کرونایی و حجم مراقبت‌های پرستاری، بار کاری پرستاران افزایش ‌یافته است. سلامت روان پرستاران می‌تواند از عوامل تعیین‌کننده بازده کاری و کیفیت عملکرد پرستاران باشد؛ لذا این تحقیق با هدف تعیین ارتباط بار کار ذهنی و سلامت روان پرستاران مراقبت‌کننده از بیماران مبتلا به کووید -19 انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه مقطعی از نوع همبستگی، 110 نفر پرستاران شاغل در مراکز آموزشی و درمانی وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان در سال 1399 شرکت داشتند که به‌صورت تصادفی ساده انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها به‌وسیله‌ی پرسش‌نامه دموگرافیک، پرسش‌نامه‌ی بار کاری ذهنی (NASA –Task load indexes)  و پرسش‌نامه‌ی سلامت عمومی(General Health Questionire) به‌صورت خودگزارشی جمع‌آوری شد. داده‌ها با استفاده نرم‌افزار  SPSS16 با استفاده از آزمون‌های آماری توصیفی و استنباطی. تحلیل گردید. سطح معنی‌داری کمتر از 0/05 در نظر گرفته شد.
یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره کلی بار کاری پرستاران 12/1 ±65/3  که بیشترین نمره مربوط به فشار فیزیکی و کمترین نمره مربوط به کارایی به ترتیب برابر 20/3 ±74/9 و 23/9 ±27/6 بود. میانگین نمره سلامت روانی پرستاران10/3 ±29/8 بود که بیش‌ترین میانگین نمره مربوط به علائم جسمانی  3/1 ±12/8  و کمترین مربوط به افسردگی  3/6±4/9 بود. ضریب همبستگی پیرسون نشان داد بین بار کاری و سلامت روانی همبستگی مثبت (0/217 r= ، 0/001 P=) بار کاری و علایم جسمانی همبستگی مثبت (0/327 r= و 0/013 P =) و بین فشار فیزیکی و علائم جسمانی همبستگی مثبت (0/203 r= و 0/001 P =) و معنی‌داری وجود دارد.
نتیجه‌گیری: بــر اســاس یافته‌های حاصـل از پژوهــش، در دوران کرونا، میزان بار کاری ذهنی افزایش داشته و بین بارکاری و سلامت روان ارتباط معکوسی وجود داشت، یعنی با افزایش بار کاری سلامت روان کاهش می‌یابد؛ لذا پیشنهاد می‌شود مدیران با اندیشیدن تمهیداتی به کنترل میزان بار کاری و بهبود وضعیت سلامت روان پرستاران کمک کنند.
