Materials & Methods: This experimental research had a pretest-posttest design, as well as a control group and a follow-up. The statistical population included all couples referred to counseling centers in 2019. Overall, four counseling centers were selected randomly, from which 20 couples (40 individuals) were randomly selected and divided into three groups of test and control (10 couples per group). The participants in the test groups attended 10 one-hour-and-a-half educational sessions while the subjects in the control group received no education. Data were collected using Queendom communication skills inventory (CSTR), Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire (RSQ), and Marital Conflicts Questionnaire (MCQ). In addition, data analysis was performed using repeated measures multivariate analysis of variance. Results: In this study, TA had a positive effect on the variables of communication skills, conflict resolution, and rejection sensitivity in the couples (P<0.05). Conclusion: According to the results of the study, TA was recognized as an effective method that could improve communication skills, conflict resolution, and rejection sensitivity in couples.
