The current study aimed to evaluate the experiences of female educational supervisors on leadership challenges in hospitals of Kermanshah City. Materials & methods: In this antenarrative study, the required data have been collected by individual semi-structured interviews. Totally 12 nurses were selected by targeted sampling method working in hospitals of Kermanshah City in 2019-2020. Analysis has been conducted using thematic analysis. Results: According to the research findings, the extracted themes included the meaning of educational leadership, the superior characteristics of women leadership, the challenges and factors that promote leadership due to the ethics of care, how women work, and criticisms of women leadership conclusion. Conclusion: The results of the study can be beneficial to policymakers, human resource managers, educational planners, and leaders at all health system levels.
