زمینه و هدف: فرسودگی شغلی یکی از عمده‌ترین پیامدهای استرس شغلی است. پرستاران هنگام ورود به شغل پرستاری افراد منظم، دلسوز و با انگیزه کاری بالا هستند که پس از مواجه‌شدن با مشکلات و استرس‌های شغلی محیط کار تمایل پیدا می‌کنند از کار خود کناره‌گیری نمایند. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین ارتباط فرسودگی شغلی با تمایل به ترک خدمت در پرستاران شاغل در بیمارستان‌های آموزشی شهر سنندج در سال 1394 انجام شد.
مواد و روش ها: در این پژوهش مقطعی 165 پرسشنامه به صورت طبقه‌ای سهمیه‌ای بین پرستاران شاغل در بخش‌های مختلف بیمارستان‌های آموزشی شهر سنندج توزیع شد. ابزار پژوهش شامل برگه اطلاعات شغلی و دموگرافیک، پرسشنامه فرسودگی شغلی Maslach و مقیاس پیش‌بینی ترک خدمت  Attwod و Hinshaw بود. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از آزمون من ویتنی، کروسکال-والیس و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن در سطح معناداری 05/0 استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج مطالعه‌ی حاضر نشان داد که میزان فرسودگی شغلی در بعد تحلیل عاطفی (4/33±27/27) و در بعد مسخ شخصیت (4/85±25/21) بود که متوسط محسوب می‌شوند. میزان فرسودگی شغلی در بعد احساس عدم موفقیت فردی کم (5/45±19/59) بود. میانگین و انحراف معیار تمایل به ترک خدمت 0/34± 3/04 بود. ارتباط معنی‌داری بین فرسودگی شغلی با تمایل به ترک خدمت وجود نداشت.
نتیجه گیری: بین فرسودگی شغلی و تمایل به ترک خدمت در پرستاران ارتباطی وجود ندارد.
