زمینه و هدف: دیسمنوره از شایع‌ترین شکایت زنان در طی سیکل قاعدگی بوده که فعالیت‌های روزمره افراد را مختل می کند. شدت دیسمنوره می تواند متأثر از عوامل متعددی مانند الگوی قاعدگی باشد، لذا هدف مطالعه حاضر تعیین الگوی قاعدگی، شدت دیسمنوره و برخی عوامل مرتبط با آن در دانشجویان دانشگاه شهرکرد بود.
مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه مقطعی، جامعه¬ی پژوهش کلیه دانشجویان دختر دانشگاه شهرکرد در سال 1397 بود که به روش نمونه گیری خوشه‌ای- تصادفی و تعداد 245 نفر بود. اطلاعات لازم از طریق پرسشنامه پژوهشگر ساخته که پایایی و روایی آن تأیید شد و مقیاس دیداری VAS جمع آوری گردید. داده ها با نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS نسخه 22 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
یافته ها: از لحاظ الگوی قاعدگی میانگین سن اولین قاعدگی دانشجویان 1±13/5 بود، اکثریت شرکت¬کنندگان دارای قاعدگی منظم، طول سیکل قاعدگی بین 21 تا 42 روز و طول مدت خونریزی قاعدگی 7- 3 روز بودند. 82/8 درصد دختران از دیسمنوره رنج می برند. بین سابقه خانوادگی مثبت، نظم قاعدگی، سن اولین قاعدگی، وزن و علامت تهوع هنگام قاعدگی با شدت دیسمنوره رابطه معناداری دیده شد.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به شیوع و شدت بالای دیسمنوره و اهمیت آن که باعث اختلال در فعالیتهای روزانه زنان شده و می تواند مختل کننده کیفیت زندگی و فعالیتهای اجتماعی آنان شود، همچنین با توجه به مسئولیتهای خطیر زنان، شناسایی مبتلایان جهت ارائه آموزش و بهبود ارائه خدمات در راستای ارتقاء سلامت جسمی و روانی دانشجویان دختر ضرورت دارد.
