زمینه و هدف: امروزه زمان عنصری مهم در مداخلات درمانی است. پرستاران در کنار وظیفه مراقبت، مدیریت زمان را نیز بر عهده دارند که نقشی مهمی در کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری و رضایت بیماران دارد. بر این اساس مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط مدیریت زمان با کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری و رضایتمندی بیماران بستری در بیمارستان‌های آموزشی استان خوزستان در سال 1399 انجام گرفت.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه توصیفی - تحلیلی 880 نفر( 576 بیمار و 304 پرستار) به روش نمونه گیری تصادفی انتخاب شدند. ابزار تحقیق شامل فرم اطلاعات دموگرافیک، پرسشنامه ابعاد چهارگانه مدیریت زمان ، پرسشنامه استاندارد کیفیت مراقبت پرستاری و پرسشنامه رضایتمندی بیماران از مراقبت‌های پرستاری بود. داده‌ها با کمک نرم‌افزار SPSS-23 و آمارهای توصیفی و استنباطی(توزیع فراوانی، ضریب همبستگی پیرسون) تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: میانگین سن پرستاران(7/21 ± 39/33 ) و بیماران ( 13/13 ± 36/14) سال بود. ارتباط معنی‌داری میان مدیریت زمان و کیفیت مراقبت پرستاری از دیدگاه پرستاران و مدیریت زمان و کیفیت مراقبت پرستاری از دیدگاه بیماران و کیفیت مراقبت پرستاری و میزان رضایت بیماران از کیفیت مراقبت‌های پرستاری به د ست آمد (0/001p <). ارتباط معنی‌داری میان مدیریت زمان و میزان رضایت بیماران یافت نشد(0/253=p).
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به ارتباط کیفیت مراقبت پرستاری و میزان رضایتی که بیماران از عملکرد پرستاران داشتند، پیشنهاد می‌گردد عملکرد پرستاران و رضایت بیماران توسط مدیران با نگاه دقیق تر مورد ارزیابی و سنجش قرار گیرد.
