زمینه و هدف: تفکر انتقادی در تصمیم‌گیری‌های بالینی و ارائه مراقبت با کیفیت بالا نقش مهمی ایفاء می‌کند و توسعه این مهارت به عنوان یک اولویت در آموزش دانشجویان پرستاری مطرح است. لذا هدف از این مطالعه، مروری بر روش‌های آموزشی موثر در تفکر انتقادی دانشجویان پرستاری ایران می‌باشد.
مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه مقالات منتشر شده از سال 1996 تا سال 2023 را از بانــک‌های اطلاعاتیPubMed ,Scopus, MagIran ,SID , google Scholar ,Irandoc, web of science, Science Direct به دو زبان فارسی و انگلیسی، با جستجوی کلمات کلیدی تفکر انتقادی، دانشجویان پرستاری و روش‌های آموزشی در منابع فارسی و Iran, nursing students, critical thinking, instructional methods در منابع انگلیسی مورد استفاده قرار داد و نهایتاً از 186 مطالعه‌ی واجد شرایط، 15 مقاله به مطالعه وارد شدند.
یافته‌ها: 20 درصد مطالعات تاثیر مثبت روش‌های آموزشی فعال، 26/5 درصد مطالعات تاثیر مثبت رویکرد آموزشی نقشه‌کشی مفهومی، 13 درصد مطالعات تأثیر روش آموزشی مبتنی بر مورد  و 13 درصد مطالعات تاثیرات مثبت آموزش مبتنی بر مسئله را نسبت به روش‌های معمول آموزشی گزارش کردند.
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نقش کلیدی دانشکده‌های پرستاری در توسعه تفکر انتقادی دانشجویان و در راستای تربیت پرستارانی توانمند، پیشنهاد می‌گردد روش‌های آموزشی ذکر شده در آموزش تئوری و بالین به طور موثرتری بکار گرفته شود و محققین پرستاری به بررسی تاثیر سایر روش‌های آموزشی  فعال بر ارتقاء تفکر انتقادی  بپردارند.
