زمینه و هدف: زنان باردار یکی از گروه‌های حساس جامعه جهت افزایش جمعیت جوان کشور محسوب شده و پرداختن به بعد کیفیت زندگی آن‌ها و بهبود این عامل می‌بایست در مرکز توجهات سازمان‌ها و نهادهایی همچون وزارت بهداشت و درمان کشور باشد. لذا این مطالعه با هدف تعیین اثربخشی آموزش شفقت به خود بر کیفیت زندگی و پریشانی روان‌شناختی زنان باردار انجام گرفت.
مواد و روش‌ها: روش پژوهش نیمه‌آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون گروه کنترل و با گمارش تصادفی و از نظر هدف، کاربردی بود. جامعه پژوهش حاضر کلیه زنان باردار مراجعه کننده به مراکز درمانی شهر نکا بودکه 30 نفر به روش غیر تصادفی هدفمند با توجه به معیارهای ورود و خروج به عنوان نمونه انتخاب و در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل قرار داده شدند. گروه آزمایش تحت آموزش شفقت به خود طی 8 جلسه 90 دقیقه گروهی به صورت یک بار در هفته قرار گرفت. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها در این پژوهش پرسش‌نامه استاندارد کیفیت زندگی سازمان بهداشت جهانی (۱۹۹۶) و پریشانی روانشناختی کسلر (۲۰۰۳) بود. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از تحلیل کواریانس از طریق نرم افزار SPSS-26 انجام شد.
یافته‌ها: آموزش شفقت به خود بر کیفیت زندگی و پریشانی روان‌شناختی زنان باردار تأثیر مثبت و معناداری دارد (0.5>p). نتایج آزمون بن فرونی نشان می‌دهد که بین کیفیت زندگی زنان باردار گروه کنترل و آزمایش در بعد از آموزش شفقت به خود تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود دارد (0.5>p) و میزان کیفیت زندگی زنان باردار گروه آزمایش نسبت به گروه کنترل افزایش داشته است. هم‌چنین بین پریشانی روان‌شناختی زنان باردار گروه کنترل و آزمایش در بعد از آموزش شفقت به خود تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود دارد (0.5>p) و میزان پریشانی روان‌شناختی زنان باردار گروه آزمایش نسبت به گروه کنترل کاهش داشته است.
نتیجه‌گیری: آموزش شفقت به خود می‌تواند یکی از گزینه‌های مؤثر در بهبود کیفیت زندگی و پریشانی روان شناختی در کنار سایر مداخلات دارویی باشد.
