Introduction: Awareness and observance of patients chr('39')rights by the health care team improves the quality of treatment and increases patientschr('39') trust and satisfaction. Quality of care in treatment. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the effect of the workshop on the Charter of Surgery Patients on the level of knowledge of operating room students.
Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental study was performed with the participation of 61 operating room students who were enrolled in an easy method. The standard questionnaire was a familiarity with the rules and standards of patient rights in the operating room. Data analysis was performed with Spss software version 19. Significance level in this study was considered less than 0.05.
Results: The mean and standard deviation of pre-test and post-test scores of patient rights were 22.28 ± 2.63 and 23.2± 69.63, respectively. Paired t-test showed a significant difference between the mean scores of pre-test and post-test. The mean post-test score was significantly higher than the pre-test (P <0.001, t = -5.01).
Conclusion: The results showed that most of the operating room students have a good level of knowledge before the intervention, while the level of knowledge increased after the intervention. It is suggested that by holding workshops and training courses, the level of students chr('39')awareness of the Charter of Patientschr('39') Rights be increased in order to increase the quality of health care.
