زمینه و هدف: منزلت حرفه‌ای یکی از ارکان بنیادین هویت، انگیزش و کیفیت مراقبت در پرستاری است. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین میزان منزلت حرفه‌ای و عوامل شغلی مرتبط با آن در پرستاران انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه مقطعی بر روی ۴۲۴ نفر از پرستاران شاغل در بیمارستان‌های آموزشی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کردستان انجام گرفت. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه اطلاعات دموگرافیک و شغلی و پرسشنامه منزلت حرفه‌ای پرستاران (دارای ۲۲ گویه در سه بعد شایسته‌مندی، قدردانی و سازمانی) گردآوری شد. تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون‌های آمار توصیفی، تحلیل‌های دومتغیره و مدل‌های رگرسیون خطی چندگانه به روش گام‌به‌گام پس‌رونده در سطح معناداری 0/05 انجام پذیرفت.
یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره کل منزلت حرفه‌ای پرستاران 15/76 ± 64/27 بود از دامنه 110-22 بود. رضایت از وضعیت درآمد (0/001 ˂ p)، علاقه به حرفه پرستاری (0/001 ˂ p)، وضعیت استخدام رسمی (0/013 = p) و سن بالاتر (0/047 = p) پیش‌بین‌های مثبت و معنادار، و داشتن تحصیلات تکمیلی پیش‌بین منفی (0/008 = p) منزلت حرفه‌ای بودند. همچنین در سطح ابعاد، ساعات اضافه‌کاری پیش‌بین منفی بعد منزلت مبتنی بر قدردانی (0/040 = p) و سابقه کار بالاتر پیش‌بین مثبت بعد منزلت سازمانی (0/037 = p) شناسایی شدند.
نتیجه‌گیری: ادراک منزلت حرفه‌ای پرستاران در سطح متوسط قرار دارد و بعد سازمانی نیازمند توجه ویژه است. بهبود عدالت در نظام پرداخت، تعدیل اضافه‌کاری اجباری، ایجاد امنیت شغلی، شفاف‌سازی نقش‌های بالینی متناسب با تحصیلات تکمیلی و استقرار سازوکارهای قدردانی مستمر در محیط‌های درمانی می‌تواند به ارتقای منزلت حرفه‌ای پرستاران کمک کند.
