زمینه و هدف: برای حفظ و ارتقای سلامت روان و کیفیت خواب در دوره پس از زایمان، توانمندسازی مادران با الگوی متناسب ضرورت دارد. مطالعه حاضر باهدف تعیین و مقایسه تاثیر اجرای برنامه‌ی توانمندسازی خانواده محور و فردمحور بر کیفیت خواب و سلامت روان زنان نخست زا در دوره‌ی پس از زایمان انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی شده بود که درفاصله اواخر سال 98 تا خرداد 99 انجام شد. پس از نمونه‌گیری به روش در دسترس 86 آزمودنی به صورت تصادفی ساده به دو گروه خانواده محور و فرد محور تخصیص یافتند. ابزارهای پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه اطلاعات دموگرافیک، پرسشنامه عوامل فردی-محیطی موثر بر خستگی و خواب، پرسشنامه کیفیت خواب پترزبورگ و پرسشنامه سلامت عمومی کلدبرگ بود. درگروه خانواده محوربرنامه توانمندسازی بر اساس مراحل چهارگانه این الگو شامل تهدید درک شده، ارتقا خود کارآمدی، خودباوری و ارزشیابی اجزاء سطح کیفیت زندگی برای مادران نخست زا در دوره پس از زایمان، به همراه شیرخوار و همسرشان اجرا شد و در گروه فردمحور به تنهایی روی این مادران اجرا شد. در3 مرحله قبل، بلافاصله و یک ماه پس از مداخله پرسشنامه‌های کیفیت خواب و سلامت روان توسط واحدهای پژوهش تکمیل گردید. در نهایت داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS-21 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته‌ها: نتایج پژوهش نشان داد نمره کیفیت خواب و امتیاز سلامت روان زنان نخست زا پس از زایمان در دو گروه توانمندسازی خانواده محور و فردمحور قبل و بلافاصله بعد از مداخله تفاوت معنادار آماری نداشتند(P>0/05) ولی یک ماه بعد از مداخله در گروه خانواده محور هر دو متغیر پژوهش به طور معناداری بهبود پیدا کرده بود(P<0/05).
نتیجه‌گیری: توانمندسازی زنان نخست زا پس از زایمان با الگوهای خانواده محور و فردمحور به بهبود کیفیت خواب و سلامت روان زنان منجر می‌شود و توانمندسازی با حمایت خانواده نقش موثرتری دارد. لذا باید اجرای برنامه‌های توانمندسازی به همراه همسر و افراد کلیدی خانواده از دوران بارداری شروع و در مراقبت‌های بعد از زایمان ادامه داده شود.
